Formerly known as Plin, the client came to us with a request to rename, rebrand and consult on their interior and menus. We chose the name Nostra (which is Italian for "ours") and partitioned the restaurant to create a separate bar concept Bar Mia (Italian for "mine.") We worked closely with our good friend David Kasprzak of Colpa Press to create the two logos and hired local artist Chris Lux to create a mural. We helped create an Amaro heavy bar menu and a build your own pasta concept. A few wood panels, vintage hanging bulbs and some new paint and the space was transformed.
